Christmas Light Rebate Form & Light Recycling Program

How much can you save by switching to LED Holiday Lights and Decorations?
LED lights use up to 90% less electricity than regular holiday lighting and last up to 10 times longer. A typical household can save up to $50 during the holiday season. LEDs also produce less heat than incandescents – improving safety. This holiday season, Redwood Falls Public Utilities is offering our electricity customers rebates of up to $12 for each plug-in LED string or decoration of energy-efficient holiday lighting they purchase through the end of the year.
Also, recycle your used holiday lights through the RRRSWA Holiday Light Recycling Program by bringing them to City Hall or other participating businesses.
Rebate coupons and additional information can be found at www.SaveEnergyInRedwoodFalls.com, and at some local retailers.
