The City of Redwood Falls has been awarded JOBZ designation in three locations under the State’s new rural economic development Job Opportunity Building Zones (JOBZ) program.
The locations are as follows:
Approximately 12 acres are available on the north end of the Ponderosa Business Park on the east side of County State Aid Highway 101 adjacent to the airport runway. This site has excellent highway and airport access. The site is owned by the City of Redwood Falls.
Three acres of JOBZ is pending approval from the State but this site includes approximately 4284 square feet of second floor office space in the new Arrival/Departure/Terminal building at the airport. This space is currently unfinished and available for specific businesses. In addition to this new building, 2.25 acres is adjacent to this building along an access road for additional development. The site is owned by the City of Redwood Falls.
Prairie Knoll Addition includes 4 single-family lots for sale. All lots are zoned R-2 of the City’s zoning ordinance. Lot prices are established by the City/Port Authority and reflect the direct actual costs of development. These costs are not subsidized by the City nor is there any profit built into these prices.
