MS4 Part 2 Application and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) received your SWPPP Document (i.e., MS4 Part 2 Permit Application and any associated documents) for coverage under the 2020 Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) General Permit MNR040000 (MS4 General Permit) on April 8, 2021.

According to Minn. Stat. § 116.03, subd. 2b(d), the MPCA reviewed this application for completeness and determined that it is complete.

Pursuant to the requirements of a Minnesota Court of Appeals ruling, the MPCA is required to provide public notice and opportunity for hearing on each MS4’s proposed SWPPP Document. The MPCA will notify you via email when your application is placed on public notice for 30-days. The email will provide more information about what to expect during and after the public notice period.

Please note, you are required to have your SWPPP Document available locally for public review. We recommend posting a copy to your website.
