Notice to Dog Owners

NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD FALLS

2019 Dog Licenses are now available at City Hall at
333 South Washington Street, Redwood Falls, Minnesota.

THE REDWOOD FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT WILL BE ENFORCING THE FOLLOWING CITY ORDINANCE:

It is a petty misdemeanor for any person to own, harbor or keep any dog over the age of three (3) months without obtaining a license.  All licensed dogs must wear a collar and have a tag firmly affixed thereto showing its registered number for the current year.  Any dog found in the City of Redwood Falls without a tag, or running at large, shall be placed in the Animal Pound.  Application for a license should be made at the Municipal Building by 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2019, or at the time, an acquired dog reaches three (3) months of age.  If a license is not purchased by 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2019, a fine will be issued for your unlicensed dog.

FEES FOR THE 2019 LICENSES ARE:
$30.00 for non-neutered males and non-spayed females;
$15.00 for neutered males or spayed females.

APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO PRESENT A CERTIFICATE FROM

A LICENSED VETERINARIAN SHOWING THE DOG HAS BEEN VACCINATED FOR RABIES.

If you no longer have your dog, please contact City Hall at 616-7400 or email info@ci.redwood-falls.mn.us so your dog can be removed from our records and you can avoid a citation.  Thank you.
