Reminder Notice to Dog Owners

REMINDER NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS
OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD FALLS

Conditional Lifetime Licenses are now available at City Hall at
333 South Washington Street, Redwood Falls, Minnesota.

THE REDWOOD FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT WILL BE
ENFORCING THE FOLLOWING CITY ORDINANCE:

A conditional lifetime license shall be obtained by the owner of any dog kept or maintained within the corporate limits of the city that is three (3) months of age or older. All licensed dogs shall wear a collar and have a tag firmly affixed thereto evidencing a current conditional lifetime license. Any dog found in the City of Redwood Falls without a license tag, or running at large, shall be placed at the Friends of the Animal Shelter. Application for a license should be made at the Municipal Building by 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2020, or at the time, an acquired dog reaches three (3) months of age. If a license is not purchased by 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2020, a District Court Citation will be issued for your unlicensed dog.

FEE FOR THE CONDITIONAL LIFETIME LICENSE IS:
$50.00 for neutered/spayed and non-neutered/non-spayed (any age)

APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO PRESENT A CERTIFICATE FROM
A LICENSED VETERINARIAN SHOWING THE DOG HAS BEEN VACCINATED FOR RABIES.

If you no longer have your dog, please contact City Hall at 616-7400 or email license@ci.redwood-falls.mn.us so your dog can be removed from our records and you can avoid a citation. Thank you.
