The City of Redwood Falls has an immediate opening for a full-time electric line worker.

The City of Redwood Falls Public Utilities Department is accepting applications for an electric line worker. This is a Full-Time position with the starting salary range of $28.10 – $35.61/hour and includes excellent benefits. This is skilled work in the construction, maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical transmission and distribution systems and related equipment. Work performed under limited supervision with overview by the Electric Superintendent and Line Foreman. Required qualifications include a combination or substantially equivalent to a recognized formal vocational curriculum in electric line work, including or supplemented by supervised field practice. Ability to climb poles and work with high voltage wires in accordance with standard safety precautions. Ability to lift 75 lbs. Must have a valid commercial driver’s license.

The City of Redwood Falls is seeking a Library Director.

The City of Redwood Falls is seeking a Library Director with a Masters of Library Science degree preferred or B.A./B.S. in Library Science or related field with preferably 3-5 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a library or related field. Position requires a flexible schedule, strong customer service, experience with an automated library system, skills in electronic and on-line searching, and considerable knowledge of a wide variety of books and authors. Person must have ability to plan, prepare, and administer a budget; ability to maintain accurate records and prepare clear, detailed reports. Must have ability to train and supervise others and maintain an effective working relationship with staff, public, and other governmental agencies. Salary range is $52,807.04/year to $78,468.00/year with an excellent benefit package.
