The Redwood Falls Police Department is seeking candidates who are entering a law enforcement program in 2025 or who are already enrolled in a program for our Police Recruit position. The successful Police Recruit candidate will be provided a paid CSO position during the summer months, have access to all in-house training, and may be eligible for a tuition reimbursement program for law enforcement education and training up to $7500. The salary range for the Police Recruit/CSO position will be $16.00 - $20.00/per hour.
The CSO is a non-sworn, non-essential position responsible for enforcing city ordinances and providing support and assistance for the full-time staff of the Redwood Falls Police Department. The CSO may provide assistance to other City Departments as assigned. The CSO primarily works during regular business hours but may be scheduled at other times based on the needs of the department.
