The City of Redwood Falls is requesting proposals to design & supply new equipment for a playground at Legion Park. The total budget for this project is $110,000. Proposals must include all related expenses to include design, securing permits, delivery, and sales tax if applicable. The City of Redwood Falls will be responsible for removing and disposing of the existing equipment and install of new playground as well as border around playground.
RFP’s will be accepted from the following vendors:
• Vendors listed on the State of Minnesota Contract
• Vendors listed on the U.S. Communities Contract
• MN Service Cooperative
Selection criteria will include: play value, layout and design, overall impression, quality of equipment, innovation, color, safety/risk management, maintenance, and warranty.
The concept plan for the park is contained within this RFP.
The playground must be completed by September 30, 2022 with final inspection by October 14, 2022. The project start date will begin after Monday, June 20, 2022.

RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Three copies of a written response to this request for proposal must be submitted to the City of Redwood Falls by 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Bids must remain in effect through May 5th, 2022 to allow sufficient time for the Redwood Falls City Council consideration on May 3rd, 2022 and proper notification of award. Proposals submitted after the above deadline shall be considered late, and will not be opened or considered. Proposals may be mailed or hand delivered in an envelope clearly marked with the following information:

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes a design proposal within the guidelines set by the City of Redwood Falls.
