The Redwood Falls Library Expansion project is underway, bringing exciting improvements to one of our community’s valued resources. The $4.9 million dollar project – funded entirely through grants and donations - will add modern, flexible spaces designed for learning and collaboration. Highlights include an expanded children’s area with a story time room, a more inviting and comforting teen area, additional small conference rooms, a nursing room for mothers, a drive through book drop, and an expanded meeting room with kitchen.
Construction is scheduled to begin in April with all major work to be completed by the end of the year. Construction crews are working closely with city staff to ensure the finished space reflects the needs of the community. Once complete, the expanded library will offer more room, more resources, and more opportunities for engagement, strengthening its role as a vibrant hub for education, creativity, and connection in Redwood Falls.
